Without content your website would be nothing but a blank screen. Marketing with content takes various types of content and uses them in creative ways to tell clients and prospects about what you do and how you can help them. Years ago advertising and marketing was about pushing messages out to those you wanted to reach. This was called outbound marketing. But the public found ways to tune out those messages by turning off the TV or radio or changing the channel or using voice mail to screen your calls.

With content marketing, you use entertaining or informative ways to tell people about what you do. Today people want to know what you can do for them.  This is called inbound marketing and is the process of using content to bring in fresh leads to your firm. Its purpose is to draw potential clients in, rather than outwardly pushing your brand, product, or service onto prospects in the hope of generating leads or clients.
